November 29th, 2005 - God Weird

Hey, kids, are you all getting excited about the new album? I know that I am and I have to say I’ve really enjoyed Stu’s blogging lately. Me being one of those who thought he occasionally could come off as arrogant or hypocritical to the uninitiated I love seeing him explain some of the whys and wherefores of what he’s posting. Just knockout stuff with the big mind postings and other assorted braindumps 🙂 . This is indeed an exciting time to be a part of the dharma-machine (Lost jokes aside 😉 ).

If you haven’t been listening to ‘Good Weird’ on repeat 24×7 like me, then, really, what the heck’s the matter with you? Its a great song, the production is out of this fucking world and the video, while strange, is oddly compelling. I’m finding it hard to wait for the actual album release, I’m getting very antsy! Anywho, hope all is well with you all. Please let me know if Opera is behaving well with the update to the menu code. It should, but I haven’t had a chance to test it aside from Moz/Firefox/IE. Cheerio…

Have yourselves a ‘Good Weird’ Thanksgiving with Stuart by watching the video for ‘Good Weird’ (the song formerly known as ‘God Weird’. P.S. — If you cannot view the quicktime file for whatever reason, I do have an .avi version of it (also an .mp3 of the sound pulled directly from the video)

For those looking for some more good music that veers into spiritual and one might even say integral territory, make sure to check out Matisyahu, a hasidic rabbi who does some amazing reggae. Yeah, you read that right 🙂 .

Also, make sure to check out some of the fun photos of Stu in the Netherlands. Like this one:
